CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Tennessee women's golf team is set to tee off in its third event of the spring, taking part in the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational.
The tournament consists of three total rounds—teeing off with 18 holes on Friday, followed by 18 holes apiece on Saturday and Sunday.
The event, which has been held annually since 1976, is set to be held at the par 70, 6,081-yard Finley Golf Club.
Last time out, the Lady Vols notched a third-place team finish at the Cavalier Regional Preview.
Bailey Davis tied for sixth via a 1-under showing as Manassanan Chotikabhukkana recorded a top-10 finish.
THE LADY VOLS' LINEUP
Bailey Davis
Davis is coming off consecutive top-10 finishes at the Cougar Classic and Cavalier Regional Preview. The senior currently holds a 70.50 scoring average through two tournaments and has also recorded five rounds of par or better.
Manassanan Chotikabhukkana
Chotikabhukkana tied for 10th at the Cavalier Regional Preview after shooting even-par overall. The junior now has five career top-10 outings.
Sophie Bierstorfer
In her first tournament as a Lady Vol, Bierstorfer tied for 30th at the Cavalier Regional Preview. The sophomore's best 18-hole score of the event came in round two when she fired a 68.
Kyra Van Kan
In just her second collegiate event, the freshman tied for 20th at the Cavalier Regional Preview. Van Kan currently holds a 72.67 scoring average and has fired four rounds of par or lower.
Martina Lopez-Lanchares
Lopez-Lanchares is set to make the first start of her sophomore season. Her highest finish last season came at the Mountain View Collegiate in which she tied for 11th after shooting 3-under overall.
