Auburn Game Sold Out; Venue Record Sixth of the Season
January 12, 2024 | Men's Basketball
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee announced Friday that its men's basketball game Feb. 28 versus Auburn is sold out.
This is the fifth of six confirmed 2023-34 sellouts for the Volunteers, including the fourth still remaining on the schedule. The others in that group are/were Illinois (Dec. 9), Ole Miss (Jan. 6), Alabama (Jan. 20), Texas A&M (Feb. 24) and Kentucky (March 9), as previously announced.
After tying a Food City Center single-season record with five sellouts last year, the six this season have set a new program mark in the venue that has stood in Knoxville since 1987-88. This is the 37th straight season the Volunteers have played their games in the arena, which is the third-largest on-campus basketball facility in the nation.
Along with the six sellouts, limited ticket inventory remains for Tennessee's upcoming contests versus both LSU (Feb. 7) and Vanderbilt (Feb. 17). Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets soon to ensure entry. Seats for the LSU game can be found HERE, while tickets for the Vanderbilt matchup are available HERE.
Fifth-ranked Tennessee (11-4, 1-1 SEC) resumes play Saturday at noon in Athens, Ga., where it faces Georgia at Stegeman Coliseum, live on ESPN2.
