Chatterton To Play for USL W League Championship with Indy Eleven

Tennessee junior midfielder Jenna Chatterton will take the field tomorrow with the Indy Eleven as the squad looks to claim its first USL W League championship, facing off with the North Carolina Courage U23 at 2 p.m. ET in Micheal A. Carroll Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.

Indy enters the contest with an 11-1-1 record while the Courage are undefeated with a 12-0-1 mark on the season.

Chatterton, an Illinois native, has been with the Indy Eleven since the team's inaugural season last summer during which the club found immediate success, going undefeated in the regular season before suffering its only loss to Minnesota Aurora in the quarterfinal round of the playoffs.

Through her first two seasons on Rocky Top, Chatterton has appeared in 16 contests. She logged her first collegiate shot on goal during the semifinals of the SEC Tournament in 2021 as the Lady Vols went on to claim an SEC Championship with a 3-0 victory over No. 5 Arkansas.

Tennessee will begin its 2023 campaign in earnest as the Big Orange hosts the University of California on August 17 at 7 p.m. ET in Regal Stadium.
