KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee announced Friday that its men's basketball game Saturday against Illinois is sold out.
This is the first of four confirmed sellouts this season for the Volunteers. The matchups with Alabama (Jan. 20), Texas A&M (Feb. 24) and Kentucky (March 9) are also sold out, as previously announced.
In addition, limited ticket inventory remains for the Volunteers' game against Auburn (Feb. 28) and fans are encouraged to purchase their seats soon to ensure entry. Tickets can be bought HERE.
For No. 17/13 Tennessee (5-3), its outing against No. 20/18 Illinois (7-1, 1-0 B1G) will be its fourth in a five-game stretch against an AP top-20 team, marking just the third such occurrence in program history. It will also be the Volunteers fifth game in their last eight versus a team in the KenPom top 15.
