KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Following a hard-fought 33-27 road win at Kentucky, Tennessee football continued its climb in the national polls, moving to No. 16 in the AFCA Coaches poll and No. 19 in the Associated Press Top 25.
The Vols (6-2, 3-2 SEC) jumped four spots in the Coaches poll, representing their 24th consecutive week in the top 20. They are ranked in the AP Top 25 for 25 straight weeks.
Tennessee has two ranked foes remaining on its schedule as it will travel to No. 14 Missouri on Nov. 11 and then host top-ranked Georgia on Nov. 18.
