Tennessee Athletics Announces Important Basketball Gameday Updates
October 27, 2023 | General, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball
With the women's and men's basketball teams set to tip off the home portion of their campaigns early next week, Tennessee Athletics has some important updates for all fans planning to make their way to Food City Center during the 2023-24 hoops season.
Â
Public Parking Lots Are Cashless (Credit Cards Required)
Starting with the Lady Vols' exhibition game vs. Carson-Newman on Oct. 30, any fan coming to campus looking to purchase parking will have to do so on site with a credit card for all events, including men's and women's basketball.
Free Shuttle Service Again Available From Ag Campus
Campus parking is limited for large Food City Center events, but there is a free shuttle service from the Ag Campus for all fans, dropping off and picking up immediately adjacent to Food City Center. ADA shuttles and entry will operate the same as previous years. Â Â
Â
Tennessee Athletics strongly recommends and encourages fans to ride our shuttles as public parking is very limited on campus, particularly for SEC and highly-attended basketball games.
Due to on-going construction and upgrades to Neyland Stadium, fans should be advised of changes coming to normal traffic patterns on Phillip Fulmer Way and Peyton Manning Pass during the 2023-24 basketball seasons. Please prepare in advance and stay tuned for more information.Â
As ticket sales continue to increase for both men's and women's basketball games, fans should plan to arrive on campus and at Food City Center early.Â
Fans with access to the Courtside Club will see a newly renovated space by Harper Auto Square. Fans will enjoy the area's fresh look, along with a pre-game meal and in-game snacks.Â
Fans seeking assistance inside Food City Center can contact the event management staff by texting the message VOLS to 865-974-9898. Provide a description of your issue or incident as well as your location within the venue, including the section, row and seat number. Standard SMS rates apply.
