WILMINGTON, N.C. – Tennessee swimming and diving opens the 2022-23 campaign with a meet at UNC Wilmington on Friday, Sept. 30, at Seahawk Natatorium at 2 p.m.
The meet is part of a weekend-long trip for the team. The squad will partake in different forms of training and team bonding throughout the trip. The meet will be live streamed on FloSports ($), and live stats will be available on the Meet Mobile app.
Tennessee returns the majority of its rosters from last season, including many key contributors. The team is highlighted by five Olympians and eight returning first team All-Americans from last year. Five Vols and Lady Vols will look to defend their SEC titles in respective events, and a total of 16 of UT's 18 SEC individual medalists are back on Rocky Top.
Following the season opener, Tennessee will take on a pair of tough opponents from the ACC in NC State (Oct. 14-15) and Louisville (Oct. 20). The meet against NC State will be UT's home opener for the season.
