Tennessee Rowing Concludes Regular Season at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – No. 19 Tennessee rowing finished the regular season Saturday morning with head-to-head matchups against fourth-ranked Princeton and eighth-ranked Penn at the Princeton Invitational on Lake Carnegie.

The competition began with the third varsity eight race, which saw the Lady Vols take second in the three-team race with a time of 7:56.5 to best Penn's mark of 7:58.0. During the 1V8 and 2V8 races, UT finished third against the top-10 foes. The second varsity eight had a decent showing, throwing down a time of 7:23.1.

Tennessee finished the event with a pair of third-place finishes in the first varsity four (8:27.5) and second varsity four races.

Up next, the Lady Vols head to Austin, Texas, to compete in the Big 12 Championship on May 15.
