Three Vols in Top 25 Entering Final Round at Mason Rudolph Championship

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Three Tennessee men's golfers are inside the top 25—including two in the top 10—and the No. 20 Vols are in third place as a team entering the final round at the Mason Rudolph Championship.
Tennessee shot 4-under as a team on Saturday at Vanderbilt Legends Club, bringing its two-round total to 13-under.
For the second straight day, the Vols exited the round with two golfers in the top 10. Bryce Lewis is tied for eighth place at 5-under, while Spencer Cross is 4-under and tied for 10th place.
After Friday's round of 4-under, Lewis shot 1-under on Saturday. Lewis, who is seeking his third top-10 finish of the spring, finished the day strong Saturday with three birdies in his final five holes.
Cross, who already has two top-10 finishes this season, was 1-over on Saturday after shooting 5-under on Friday.
Tyler Johnson had Tennessee's best round on Saturday, shooting 3-under 68. Johnson made five birdies on the day and is tied for 21st place entering round three. The redshirt senior is seeking his fourth top-25 finish of the season and 19th of his career.
Rounding out Tennessee's five-man lineup, Jake Hall and Hunter Wolcott are each tied for 33rd place and at even par through two rounds. Wolcott contributed a 1-under round for the Vols on Saturday, while Hall was 1-over after shooting 1-under on Friday.
Competing as an individual, Laurent Desmarchais shot even par on Saturday and is tied for 47th place heading into Sunday at 2-over overall.
