Lady Vols Conclude First Round of Clemson Invitational

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Tennessee women's golf team completed the first round of its final regular season tournament at the Clemson Invitational on Friday. The Lady Vols stand in ninth place ahead of the second round.
Sophomore Kayla Holden and Senior Mikayla Bardwell are tied for 20th place at 2-over. Bardwell started her day strong by carding birdies on her first two holes.
Vanessa Gilly, a sophomore, shot 3-over (75) in the opening round and is tied for 29th place. Junior Nicole Whiston posted a 77 (+5), wrapping up round one tied for 53rd place.
Freshman Bailey Davis concluded the first day tied for 59th place at 6-over, notching two birdies on the back nine. Senior Hadley Walts was +8 (80) and is tied for 76th place.
