Bardwell Leads Lady Vols on Day Two of Clemson Invitational

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Tennessee women's golf team competed in the second round of the Clemson Invitational on Saturday, with Mikayla Bardwell standing in the top 10 ahead of the final round.
The senior carded a 73 (+1), shooting three birdies on the back nine. She is tied for 7th place (+3) heading into Sunday.
Vanessa Gilly, a sophomore, shot 6-over (78) in the second round while sophomore Kayla Holden posted a 79 (+7). The pair enters the final round in 34th place at 9-over.
Freshman Bailey Davis shot 7-over (79) and junior Nicole Whiston carded an 80 (+8). The duo finished the day in 65th place at +13.
Hadley Walts, a senior, carded an 80 (+8), wrapping up the second day tied for 80th place.
The Lady Vols shot 21-over as a team and are tied for 10th place at +33 (609) ahead of Sunday's final 18 holes.
