KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Single-game tickets for the first 15 home games of the 2022 Tennessee baseball season are officially on sale. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting AllVols.com or calling the Tennessee Athletics ticket office at (865) 656-1200 or 1 (800) 332-VOLS.
Single-game tickets for all other home games – SEC contests and remaining midweek games – will go on sale March 1.
The Vols begin their season at home with a three-game series against Georgia Southern starting on Feb. 18. UT's home slate features 37 games, including SEC series against South Carolina (March 18-20), Missouri (April 8-10), Alabama (April 15-17), Auburn (April 29-May 1) and Georgia (May 13-15). UT's full 2022 schedule can be seen HERE.
Â
Tennessee is coming off an historic 2021 season, culminated by the program's fifth College World Series appearance and its first trip to Omaha since 2005. The Vols won 50 games for just the third time in program history and won their first outright SEC eastern division title since 1995. Tony Vitello was named National Coach of the Year by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and Perfect Game.
Â
The Vols return 24 letterwinners from last season's Omaha team, including "Super Seniors" in Evan Russell, Luc Lipcius and Redmond Walsh. UT has had three players earn preseason All-America honors in Russell, sophomore pitcher Blade Tidwell and junior outfielder Jordan Beck. The Big Orange also welcomed the nation's No. 5 ranked signing class according to Baseball America and Perfect Game.
