Vols Fourth in ITA Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee men's tennis team is ranked No. 4 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll, the organization announced Wednesday.
The ITA Top 25 Coaches Poll is voted on by the ITA National Ranking Committee. The National Ranking Committee is made up of the 12 ITA Region Chairs, with each chair casting an individual, secret ballot.
SEC foes Florida (No. 1) and Georgia (No. 8) join the Vols in the top 10. In total, eight SEC teams cracked the top 25. Early season opponents TCU (No. 5) and Ohio State (No. 6) also landed inside the top 10.
The Vols open their 2022 spring campaign Wednesday, Jan. 12 with a home doubleheader against ETSU. The first match will begin at 10 a.m. ET, followed by a 3 p.m. ET afternoon match.
