LVFL Reynolds To Rep USA In 3x3 Event

(From USA Basketball) – The USA will be represented at the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series stop in Constanta, Romania, from Aug. 14-15 by Blake Dietrick (Princeton/Wellesley, Mass), N'Dea Jones (Texas A&M/Lawrenceville, Ga.), Jordan Reynolds (Tennessee/Portland, Ore.) and Breanna Richardson (Mississippi State/Conyers, Ga.).
Playing in Pool B, the USA on Aug. 14 will meet Canada at 10:25 a.m. EDT and Romania at 12:15 p.m. EDT.
All four athletes are current members of Force 10 3x3, the first U.S. professional 3x3 women's teams.
Reynolds participated in trials for two USA Basketball five-on-five junior national teams, including the 2011 USA U16 National Team and the 2013 USA U19 World Cup Team. She was drafted No. 19 by the Atlanta Dream in the 2017 WNBA Draft. She played four years at the University of Tennessee (2013-14 to 2016-17) and was named to the 2015 All-SEC Tournament Team.
Dietrick played 22 games with the Atlanta Dream in 2020 after playing four seasons at Princeton University (2011-12 to 2014-15), where she was the 2015 Ivy League Player of the Year. In 2016, she participated in the USA Basketball 3x3 National Championship, where her team, Ariel, finished 4-2 and in third place.
Jones was drafted No. 23 by the Seattle Storm in the 2021 WNBA Draft after four seasons at Texas A&M (2017-18 to 2020-21). Jones is A&M's all-time leading rebounder (1,026) and was 2020 and 2021 All-Southeastern Conference first team.
Richardson played four seasons at Mississippi State University (2013-14 to 2016-17), where she set the program record for career games played (143) and as a senior played in the NCAA National Championship game.
The Constanta tournament features four Pools of three teams each. After each team plays the two other teams in its Pool, the top two teams from each Pool will advance to the quarterfinals on Aug. 15. The semifinals and finals also will be played on Aug. 15.
