Women’s Golf Central: NCAA Regionals

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. – The Tennessee women's golf team is gearing up for NCAA postseason action, ahead of the Louisville Regional this week.
The Lady Vols are coming off of their lowest team score of the season, as they shot 11-under (853) at the SEC Championship in Birmingham, Alabama.
No. 10-seeded Tennessee is one of just nine women's golf programs to make all 28 NCAA Regionals, which began in the spring of 1993.
The top six teams at each regional site and the top three individuals not on those teams will advance to the NCAA Championship at Greyhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, from May 20-26.
17 teams accompany Tennessee in the Regional, including SEC foes South Carolina, Auburn and Arkansas. The Regional is hosted by No. 12-seeded Louisville.
LADY VOLS' LINEUP
Micheala Williams-Luck
As a graduate student, Williams-Luck enters her fourth trip to the NCAA Regionals as Tennessee's leader in NCAA postseason experience.
At the SEC Championship In April, she registered three under-par rounds to finish tied for 13th place with a three-day score of 7-under, 209. That score marked the 11-best score after 54 holes in Lady Vol program history.
At the Auburn Regional in 2019, Williams-Luck finished in a tie for 13th place.
Vanessa Gilly
Gilly enters her first NCAA Regional action after posting the second-best finish of her freshman campaign at the SEC Championship, with a three-day score of -6 (210). Her first round score of 67 in Birmingham stands as her career-best score for a single round.
Mikayla Bardwell
As a junior, Bardwell owns a team-low average of 73.93 this season. At the SEC Championship, she finished tied for 41st after shooting 1-over, 217.
Kayla Holden
In Holden's debut SEC Championship appearance in April, the freshman logged a score of +2 (218). She finished in a tie for 45th after finishing the tournament with back-to-back days of even-par scoring.
Nicole Whiston
Whiston wrapped up the SEC Championship in a tie for 58th, with a three-day score of +8 (224). This week marks her first NCAA postseason action and the 17th tournament of her career.
