Vols Conclude Round Two at NCAA Championships

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The Tennessee men's golf team wrapped up round two competition of the NCAA Championships Saturday.
After 36 holes, the Vols are tied for 20th at 25-over, 585 following a score of 13-over, 293 in round two Saturday.
Tennessee is currently five strokes outside of the top 15. Following Sunday's third round of stroke play, the top-15 teams will advance to a fourth and final stroke play round.
Hunter Wolcott and Spencer Cross, each at 1-over, 71 on Saturday, carded the top scores for the Vols in round two. Wolcott stands at 7-over, 147 overall and is tied for 82nd place, with Cross in a tie for 92nd with a total score of 8-over, 148 entering Sunday's third round.
After shooting 3-over, 73 on Saturday, Bryce Lewis is tied for 33rd at 3-over, 143 through the first two rounds in the desert of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Brayden Garrison rounded out Tennessee's day two scoring lineup, at 8-over, 78. Garrison is in a tie for 132ndat 13-over through two rounds.
Rhys Nevin shot 9-over, 79 on Saturday and is tied for 107th at 10-over overall.
Tennessee is set to tee off round three at the NCAA Championships Sunday beginning at 2:42 p.m. ET.
