KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — 31 Tennessee track & field athletes have made the trip to Jacksonville, Florida, to begin NCAA postseason action at the East Preliminary Rounds this week. The four-day regional competition is set for Wednesday, May 26, through Saturday, May 29, at the University of North Florida's Hodges Stadium.

The Big Orange will have 40 entries at the meet, competing in 25 events over the course of the weekend. The top-12 finishers in each event will advance to the NCAA National Championships, set for June 9-12 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.

TENNESSEE SCHEDULE: UT will have 30 individuals and two relays competing at the East Preliminaries, with several events in action all four days. See below for a rundown of Tennessee's meet schedule.

RANKED VOLS: In the latest installment of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Track & Field Rating Index, the men of Tennessee checked in at No. 17 while the Lady Vols were slotted No. 25. UT is one of 17 schools in the country to have both squads rated inside the national top-25.

UP NEXT: The top-12 finishers in each event at the NCAA East Prelims will advance to the NCAA National Championships, which will be held June 9-12 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
