KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The ninth-ranked Lady Vols are headed to the Big Ten Invitational on April 17-18 on Harsha Lake in Bethel, Ohio.Â
The regatta will feature 16 teams, 13 of which are ranked in the top 20 in this week's Pocock CRCA Poll presented by USRowing. Competition will begin with morning and evenings sessions on Saturday and conclude with a morning session on Sunday. All 65 races of the event will be available for viewing via a YouTube livestream.
In the first session, Tennessee will face off against No. 7 Alabama, No. 15 Wisconsin, and No. 17 Minnesota. The UT 1V8 will kick things off at 10 a.m. ET, and the 2V8 and 1V4 will follow at 10:10 a.m. ET and 10:20 a.m. ET, respectively. The 2V4 will be in action at 11:55 a.m. ET against Notre Dame, Alabama, and Minnesota.Â
The Lady Vols will see another top-20 field on Saturday afternoon, matching up against No. 6 Michigan, No. 16 Iowa, and No. 20 Syracuse. The 2V4 will be first in action at 2:15 p.m. ET, with the 1V8, 2V8, and 1V4 following in 10-minute intervals beginning at 4 p.m. ET.
UT will close out the weekend on Sunday morning against No. 17 Minnesota, Notre Dame, and Michigan State. First up will be the 1V8 at 10 a.m. ET, with the 2V8 and 1V4 races immediately following. The 2V4 will finish out the day against No. 17 Minnesota, Louisville, and Notre Dame at 11:55 a.m. ET.
