March 24, 2021 | Men's Tennis
In its first computerized rankings of the 2021 dual season, the Tennessee men's tennis team comes in at third in the ITA's team rankings and placed six singles players and two doubles teams inside the singles top-125 and the doubles top-80 the Association announced Wednesday.
The announcement marks the sixth consecutive week the Vols have been tabbed a top-five team by the ITA and sees four Vols ranked for the first time as members of the Orange & White.
Tennessee's six ranked singles players are the most of any school in the Division I rankings.

Rounding out the teams ranked doubles pair is the duo of junior Martim Prata and freshman Johannus Monday who are ranked 67th.
In singles, the riches are abundant for UT who see Walton and Harper remain in the top-125 at No.'s 16 and 117 respectively.
Prata and Monday enter the ITA's rankings for the first time in their collegiate career's holding tight to the No. 40 and 17 spots.
Graduate students Giles Hussey and Joel Gamerov are the final ranked Vols, coming in at No. 80 and No. 115, both being ranked for the first time as UT student athletes.
As a team, Tennessee has racked up 10 victories over ranked foes and individually, Monday leads the way for the Vols with 10 wins of his own against ranked opponents in singles play.
The third-ranked Vols return to action this weekend with a pair of SEC contests against Vanderbilt on Friday and No. 20 Kentucky on Sunday. Both matches are set to get going at 1 p.m. ET from Barksdale Stadium.
