Lady Vols Conclude Round One of Gamecock Intercollegiate

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Tennessee women's golf team completed the opening round of the Gamecock Intercollegiate on Monday.
Nicole Whiston's round of 1-over (73) led the Lady Vols, as the sophomore stands in tie for 28th following the opening round.
Mikayla Bardwell's four birdies in the round's final seven holes aided her strong finish to the first round. Bardwell shot 3-under in the back-nine to finish day one at +2 (74) and tied for 35th place.
Micheala Williams-Luck carded a score of +6 (78) in round one and is currently in a tie for 79th.
Freshman Vanessa Gilly rounded out Tennessee's scoring lineup in a tie for 79th at 6-over, 78.
Kayla Holden shot +8 (80) in Monday's opening round.
