COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Tennessee women's golf team wrapped up day two of the Gamecock Intercollegiate on Tuesday in a tie for 15th.

Along with the completion of round two, teams played midway through round three, with each Lady Vol completing either 10 or 11 holes of the final round. Play will resume at 11:30 a.m. ET Wednesday.

Sophomore Nicole Whiston is tied for 17^th after two and a half rounds. In round two, she went bogey-free on all but one hole, making two birdies in the round to card a score of -1 (71). That effort brought her to even-par through 36 holes. Whiston is currently 2-over, 146 with eight holes remaining.

"Nicole has played really steady the whole tournament and her second round was really good," head coach Judi Pavon said. "Micheala Williams-Luck also bounced back and played well today."

Williams-Luck eagled hole 15 of round two, allowing her to reach an even-par (72) score for the second round. The graduate student is +5 (192) and in a tie for 38^th position with seven holes to go.

Mikayla Bardwell stands tied for 57^th at 7-over, 196, and has seven holes left to play in the final round.

Kayla Holden concluded Tuesday's play with five birdies in the first 11 holes of round three. She is currently -4 (40) in round three with seven holes left and tied for 85^th overall, at +15 (203) with a chance to finish strong on Wednesday.

"Kayla is off to a great start in round three," Pavon said. "She really wanted to keep playing but I'm confident she will pick back up tomorrow where she ended today. Like always, the scores are pretty bunched up, so we need to go out tomorrow and finish off our last six or seven holes strong."

Freshman Vanessa Gilly is currently +19 (206) and has seven holes to go.
