Women’s Golf Central: Blessings Collegiate Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – First-year Lady Vol head coach Diana Cantu and the Tennessee women's golf team are set to compete at the second annual Blessings Collegiate Invitational, scheduled to start Monday and run Oct. 4-6.
The field includes three SEC programs—Arkansas, Ole Miss and Tennessee—and five Golfweek top-25 teams. Each team will play in fivesomes, featuring all five of their participating student-athletes.
Golf Channel will provide live coverage of the event each day from 4-7 pm ET at the Blessings Golf Club.
LADY VOLS' LINEUP
Nicole Whiston
Last time out, Whiston concluded the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship in Knoxville tied for 20th, with a 54-hole score of 4-over, 217. This week will mark her second consecutive tournament in Tennessee's top lineup slot.
Kayla Holden
Holden, a sophomore, recorded the second top-20 finish of her career at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship, shooting +4, 217 as an individual to finish T20.
Hadley Walts
Through six rounds this season, Walts has already logged four rounds of par or better. At the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship, she finished tied for 32nd place.
Vanessa Gilly
Gilly is coming off the second-best finish of her Lady Vol career, after finishing tied for 16th (+3, 216) at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship.
Bailey Davis
Davis, a freshman from White Plains, Maryland, tied for 26th place (+5, 218) at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship two weeks ago at Cherokee Country Club.
