CSCAA Names 25 Vols & Lady Vols to Scholar All-America Teams

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee swimming and diving program places 25 men and women on CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America announced.

Fifteen Vols and Lady Vols received first-team recognition, which requires a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and for the student-athlete to have been invited to compete at their respective national championship.

The students-athletes selected to the second team similarly achieved a GPA of 3.50 and achieved a "B" time standard or competed at an NCAA Regional or Zone Diving qualifier. Tennessee placed 10 swimmers and divers on the second team.

The CSCAA named 1,479 swimmers and divers to Scholar All-American Teams for the 2019-20 season.

For the second-straight year, the Southeastern Conference led all conferences with 137 first-team selections, ten more than last season.

The awards come on the heels of the Vols and Lady Vols being named CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams last week.
