KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – "The Slice" a Tennessee football podcast, which will feature deep-dive interviews with student-athletes and personalities inside the program, makes its debut this week with sophomore linebacker Henry To'o To'o.
"The Slice" is available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify (search The Slice). VFL Films' Kasey Funderburg conducts the in-depth interviews, while VFL's Isaac Fowler produces the episodes.
To'o To'o, a native of Sacramento, California, enters his sophomore campaign after a spectacular freshman All-America season in 2019. He racked up 72 total tackles, which ranked second among SEC freshmen and fourth among freshmen nationally.
To'o To'o discusses his background and journey to Knoxville with Funderburg. In addition, the sophomore talks about the importance of family and faith and what it's like to play for head coach Jeremy Pruitt.
"Family is big," To'o To'o said. "Coach Pruitt and everybody in the athletic department does a great job in making sure that Tennessee Athletics is family and making sure that we all bond as one. We are all Vols. I felt that on my first visit here. I came to Tennessee in the summer of my junior year. It was pure love from the coaches."
