Tennessee Announces Seating Plan for Volleyball

To align with state and local physical-distancing guidelines for public gatherings, Tennessee Athletics has finalized its adjusted seating model for the 2020 volleyball season at Thompson-Boling Arena. Pending the status of the current pandemic, the hope is that this plan is only required for one season and that Thompson-Boling Arena can return to its traditional seating model in 2021.
Tennessee volleyball tickets are $5 per match and must be bought online in advance at AllVols.com. Once purchased, tickets will be sent by mobile delivery. Fans are strongly encouraged to download their tickets on their phone prior to arrival.
To accommodate physical distancing, seats will be reserved seating in groups of two, four and in some cases, six. There will be two empty rows in between rows with spectators. Capacity for home volleyball matches at Thompson-Boling Arena will be approximately 700.
Gate C to Thompson-Boling Arena, located at the northwest corner of the facility, will open one hour prior to each match and will be the only gate open throughout the 2020 volleyball season. Fans are required to enter and exit at this location.
Physical distancing reminders will be placed throughout the gate lines and entry point.

Know Before You Go
- Prior to arriving on campus, all fans are encouraged to check their temperature and do a health self-screen. Fans who have a temperature above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or those who are in the most vulnerable population for complications from COVID-19 are asked to stay home and isolate.
- Face coverings (over the nose and mouth) are required for all guests as they enter, exit and move around Thompson-Boling Arena, as well as any time guests are unable to maintain the recommended physical distance from others who are not in their same household.
- Physical distancing measures have been put in place, including physically distanced line queues, marked barriers and social distancing reminders.
- A significant number of hand-washing opportunities, including hand sanitizer dispensers, have been added inside Thompson-Boling Arena.
- Additional cleaning and sanitization measures have been implemented. This includes high touch-point areas being cleaned more frequently and providing additional hand-sanitizing locations.
