Adam Walton Advances to the Semifinals at the M15 Champaign Futures

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Junior Adam Walton continues his impressive start to the fall as he advances to the semifinal round of the M15 Champaign Futures tournament main draw.
The ITA Ohio Valley Player to Watch defeated former three-time All-American and Stanford Cardinal Tom Fawcett, 6-2, 6-2, advancing to the first professional semifinal of his career.
Walton is now 6-0 after winning his three qualifying matches and the first three matches in the main draw. The Home Hill, Australia native has won all but one match in two sets and showed his resilience in round two of the main draw as he rallied to win, 4-6, 6-4, 6-0, after dropping the opening set.
