SEC Announces 2019 Volleyball Television Schedule

Tennessee has the potential of playing seven matches on ESPN family of networks
KNOXVILLE, Tennessee – With just two weeks remaining before the start of the 2019 season, the SEC has released the television schedule for the upcoming season.
Tennessee will play six matches on ESPNU and SEC Network throughout the season starting with the opening match of the season when the Lady Vols host Illinois in Thompson-Boling Arena on Aug. 30 at 8 p.m. ET (SEC Network).
UT could have the potential of four home matches and seven total matches televised if the Nov. 24 match against Missouri is selected to air on SEC Network.
In the first home match of the conference slate, Tennessee will host Texas A&M on Sept. 29 at 3 p.m. ET on SEC Network. The Aggies finished last season tied for fifth in the league standings with a record of 10-8. The final scheduled home broadcast comes against Kentucky on Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. ET.
The match, which will be the first of three ESPNU broadcasts, features the teams who finished first and second in the conference race in 2018.
Last season, the Lady Vols finished with a 5-2 record in televised games including wins over No. 22 Michigan State and No. 23 Missouri.
