KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – With more than half the MLB season completed, see how former Vols are faring in pro ball this season. Â
Nick Senzel has had a solid rookie campaign so far with the Cincinnati Reds, who are within striking distance in the tightly-contested NL Central, while Andrew Lee was recently called up to Double-A Harrisburg after being named to the Mid-Season All-Star Team following a stellar first half of the season with the Single-A Advanced Potomac Nationals.

MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL (MLB)
Nick Senzel -- OF, Cincinnati Reds
Season: 55 G, 33 R, 56 H, 13 2B, 2 3B, 8 HR, 27 RBI, 20 BB, 8 SB, .263 AVG, .325 OBP, .455 SLG
Senzel went into the All-Star break as one of the top sluggers for the Reds despite only being in the league since May 3. His power and plate awareness have helped the Reds climb just 4.5 back of the division-leading Chicago Cubs in a wide-open NL Central. Senzel suffered a sprained ankle in a loss to Cleveland on July 7 but is expected to be back following the All-Star break.
Christian Stewart -- OF, Detroit Tigers
Season: 65 G, 22 R, 54 H, 16 2B, 1 3B, 6 HR, 29 RBI, 26 BB, .233 AVG, .315 OBP, .388 SLG
Stewart had been impressive so far this month, batting .316 with six hits and a pair of doubled in five games. The Atlanta native carried a three-game hitting streak into the All-Star break, including a 3-for-5 performance in a loss to the Red Sox on July 6. Â
Zack Godley -- P, Arizona Diamondbacks
Season: 21 App, 9 GS, 3-5, 6.61 ERA, 65.1 IP, 2 SV, 49 R, 48 ER, 74 H, 28 BB, 48 K, 1.56 WHIP
Godley has not seen action since his outing on June 30 at San Francisco where he threw one scoreless inning of relief. The right hander has seen time out of the bullpen and as a starter this season for the Diamondbacks, who start the second half of their season on Friday, July 12 against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Drew Steckenrider -- RP, Miami Marlins
Season: 15 App, 0 GS, 0-2, 6.28 ERA, 14.1 IP, 10 R, 10 ER, 9 H, 5 BB, 14 K, 0.98 WHIP
Steckenrider has not seen the diamond since being placed on the 60-day injured list on May 8 by the Marlins. In his last appearance on May 6, he tossed a scoreless inning of relief in a 6-5 win over the Cubs.
Yan Gomes -- C, Washington Nationals

Gomes snapped a three-game hitless skid with a single against the Kansas City Royals in the Nationals final game before the All-Star break. The veteran catcher has struggled over his last 15 games, batting just .174 with four RBI in that span. Â

Ramsey made 12 appearances for the Salt Lake Bees before making his Major League debut for the Angels in a 11-5 victory over the New York Yankees on April 25. In that outing, Ramsey threw one scoreless inning and recorded his first-career strikeout in the big leagues. Ramsey was optioned back down to Salt Lake on April 26 and made five more appearances with the Bees before being released from the Angels organization on June 4.
