Lady Vols Challenge Italian National "B" Team

Tennessee takes on the Italian U23 team in the second match of the European Tour
MILAN, Italy – The University of Tennessee volleyball team played its second match of the 12-day European Tour after visiting Lake Como, Italy, earlier in the day.
For the second consecutive night, the Lady Vols took on the Italian National "B" Team at the Italian Volleyball Federation training center in Milan. This Italian squad was comprised of players from the Italian U23 team.
Tennessee senior Alyssa Andreno helped the Lady Vols get out to a quick start. She had seven kills on her first seven attempts of the match as Tennessee took the first set 25-19. Andreno added an ace and a block assist in the match.
Fellowe senior Tessa Grubbs led the team in kills with 11 in the match, including four in the opening set. She added an ace, a solo block and a block assist in the match. Both senior Sedona Hansen and sophomore Lily Felts had double-digit digs as Hansen finished with a double double.
Last season, Hansen led all SEC setters with 15 double-double performances.
Freshman Morgahn Fingall tallied eight kills and three block assists in the match with multiple kills in the second, third and fourth sets.
The Lady Vols are back in action Saturday as they travel to Genova, Italy, to take on Serceto Volley School for the third match of the tour.
