Coach's Take
On the teams play and getting out early:
"I think the conditions were definitely easier not nearly as windy especially on those finishing holes were picked up a little bit yesterday. We played really well to throw out a 70 can't complain about that." – Coach Brennan Webb
Â
On all five players scoring well in round two:
"If you have to have five guys in the in the game the whole day, it just makes things a lot easier. The guys are able to kind of feel the energy of what's going on and can pick it up. To have everyone in the game all day long, this is a good feeling. And that's what we need." – Coach Brennan Webb
Â
On Hunter Wolcott being near the top of the leaderboard:
"He's just playing extremely solid, keeping the ball in play and hits the ball a very long distance. He's playing well and has followed his game plan to a tee. He hasn't tried to press the issue and takes his birdies when they come to him. If it works out that he ends up the top of the board great but if not, we're here to win a team championship and I know that's his number one goal." – Coach Brennan Webb
Â
Player's Take
On feeding off of teammates energy on the course:
"Coach Webb and I were standing on the tee. We were just talking about how we knew that everyone was going to score well today and we did. You could see the guys out on the course and knew everyone was feeling good out there." – Redshirt sophomore Hunter Wolcott
