On the Lady Vols earning a bid to the NCAA Tournament:
"We are very excited to be competing in our 38th consecutive NCAA Tournament and look forward to our match-up with UCLA on Saturday. Our young team has continued to be resilient and bounce back when faced with adversity this season, and I'm happy that they've earned this bid. Our challenging non-conference schedule combined with the toughness of the SEC proved to be beneficial when it came time for the committee to make some tough final decisions. On entering the tournament as a senior:
"I'm really happy to make the tournament. I wouldn't want the SEC (quarterfinal) game to be my last game; I wanted to keep playing. It's my senior year, and I'm just really happy to continue playing."

On if she felt relieved when the bracket was revealed:
"It definitely was a relief. I've been anxious thinking about it, being on the bubble. It's definitely reassuring to know that we're in, and now we can get back to work and really start preparing productively."

Sophomore Guard Evina Westbrook

On finding out Tennessee earned its 38th consecutive NCAA bid:
"Me personally, I was just super excited that we get to have this opportunity as a team to just go out there and prove to ourselves that we belong in the tournament and just get a chance to go out there and play as hard as we can. We don't want our season to be over. We didn't want our season to be over as a team, so all of us are just so pumped to get this opportunity, and we can't wait to play our first game on Saturday."

On preparing teammates for what to expect in the NCAA Tournament:
"I think just reminding everybody, especially our younger ones who haven't really been here before, that any game can be our last. Once you lose, you're done playing. That kind of hit us at the end of the season (last year) when we lost to Oregon State at home. Just making sure everyone knows to leave it all out there, whether it's the first game of the tournament or the last game of the tournament if we're able to make it there, we just have to leave it all on the floor every second."

Sophomore Guard/Forward Rennia Davis

On what the team is focused on heading into the NCAA Tournament:
"We just want to seize the opportunity. I think that there was some concern going into the show, wondering if we'd make the tournament, but (now) we're focused, and we're grateful for the opportunity, and we want to make the most of it."
