KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Coming off a 6-1 home win over in-state foe Middle Tennessee, the No. 15/19 Tennessee men's tennis team welcomes Georgia to Goodfriend Tennis Center for its SEC opener on Friday, March 1 at 6 p.m.
The Vols have won seven-straight matches going into the SEC showdown, dating back to a 4-2 victory over 38th-ranked Texas Tech on January 27.

Admission is free to all regular-season matches. Parking is available in Lot N-12 which is located at the corner of Lake Avenue and Volunteer Boulevard.
LAST TIME OUT: The Vols (9-1) defeated in-state foe Middle Tennessee, 6-1, on Wednesday at home at Barksdale Stadium.
A PAIR OF STREAKS: As a team, UT has won seven consecutive matches, going back to a 4-2 triumph over Texas Tech. Adam Walton, ranked 94th nationally in singles, has picked up eight-straight singles victories with his 6-2, 6-3 win over Gonzalo Morell of Middle Tennessee on Wednesday. The Home Hill, Australia native's streak began with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Charlotte's Constandinos Christoforou on January 19.
RANKINGS: The newest crop of ITA and USTA rankings came out on February 26 and 27 and saw the Vols rank No. 15 and 19, respectively. Tennessee jumped seven spots in the ITA lists, from No. 26 to 19, while UT held steady at No. 15 in the USTA poll.
SERIES HISTORY: Georgia (4-3) leads the all-time series 52-25, with the series dating back to 1963.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS: Georgia has played only one true road match, losing at Ohio State 4-0. Since that loss, UGA has reeled off three consecutive victories with wins over Presbyterian College (7-0), Florida Atlantic (5-2) and Mercer (6-1). The Bulldogs bring four players ranked in the singles top-125 to Knoxville in No. 5 Jan Zielinski, No. 19 Emil Reinberg, No. 85 Philip Henning and No. 110 Robert Loeb.
