- Jennings and Callaway recorded their fourth 100-yard receiving games this season, leaving them in a tie for seventh in school history in 100-yard games in a season. Jennings also moved into a tie for eighth in career 100-yard games, with six career 100+ yard performances.
Crouch Scores First-Career TouchdownÂ
- True freshman Quavaris Crouch scored his first career touchdown at the 12:49 mark in the second quarter on third down from the 1-yard line. Crouch mainly plays outside linebacker, but the 6-1, 246-pounder is the Vols' short-yardage running back. He has five carries for nine yards this season, and has yet to have a negative rush.Â
- Crouch's 1-yard TD plunge was the first rushing touchdown by a Vol defender since A.J. Johnson had six rushing scores in 2012.
- Redshirt junior Jarrett Guarantano's 415 passing yards are the most by a Tennessee quarterback since Tyler Bray threw for 404 yards against Missouri on Nov. 10, 2012. Guarantano's performance is the fourth-most passing yards by a Vol in a single game in program history. His 415 yards through the air came against the sixth-best passing defense in the nation.
- Guarantano became the third UT quarterback to throw for more than 400 yards in a single game, joining Tyler Bray and Peyton Manning.
