Â
Admission and parking for all regular season matches at Regal Soccer Stadium are both free of charge. Gates will open at 6 p.m. Thursday evening, and fans should be reminded that Tennessee's clear bag policy will be in effect.
Â
Thursday's contest will be broadcasted on SEC Network+, available online and through the ESPN app. Live stats will also be provided via SIDEARM Stats.
Â
PINK NIGHT: Tennessee soccer will host its annual Pink Game Thursday night in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month. The team will sport pink jerseys and fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support. UT Fan Experience will also serve strawberry ice cream to the first 100 fans in attendance.
Â
GAMEDAY PROMOTIONS: Other promotions for Thursday include a halftime corgi race, dollar dog night (with vouchers) and free juice boxes for the first 25 kids.
Â
LAST TIME OUT: The Vols (7-4-1, 1-3 SEC) picked up their first conference win of 2019 on Sunday, defeating SEC East rival Kentucky 2-0 at Regal Stadium. Freshman midfielder Isabella Cook and senior forward MA Vignola tallied goals in the first half.
Â
Tennessee had a strong defensive showing against the Wildcats as the back line did not allow a shot on goal for the entire contest. Rookie keeper Lindsey Romig was credited with her first career solo shutout as she played all 90 minutes between the posts.
Â
DEFEND REGAL: Since 2017, Tennessee owns 24-4-1 (.845) record at Regal Soccer Stadium. The Vols have outscored their opponents 70-23 at Regal and totaled 15 home shutouts over that stretch.
Â
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Vol midfielder Isabella Cook was tabbed with SEC Freshman of the Week honors Monday afternoon. The Elmhurst, Ill. native scored the game-winner against Kentucky and dished out an assist to MA Vignola as the Vols earned their first conference win this season.
Â
SERIES HISTORY: UT owns a 16-8-1 all-time record against the Bulldogs, including a four-match unbeaten streak since 2015. In the last meeting between the two programs, the Vols and Bulldogs battled to a scoreless tie in Athens on Oct. 12, 2018.
Â
Tennessee has dominated the series defensively in recent years. The Vols have shut out Georgia in four consecutive meetings, spanning 380 minutes of game time since 2015.
Â
SCOUTING GEORGIA: The Bulldogs (5-5-2, 1-2-1 SEC) snapped a three-match unbeaten streak last Sunday, dropping a narrow loss to Vanderbilt 1-0 at home. UGA has scored four or more goals in three matches this season, including a recent 5-1 victory at Missouri on Sept. 29.
Â
Freshman forward Chloe Chapman often provides a spark for Georgia off the bench, leading the Bulldogs with five goals this season despite averaging just 22 minutes per contest. Starting goalkeeper Emory Wegener looks to build off a strong performance last season as she recorded a clean sheet against the Vols with a career-high nine saves.
Â
UP NEXT: Tennessee will hit the road this weekend to face Missouri on Sunday. Kickoff between the Vols and Tigers is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET at the Audrey J. Walton Stadium in Columbia, Mo.
