Tennessee Wraps up Fall Competition at HOCR

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Tennessee rowing team finished up its fall season with one event at the Head of the Charles Regatta on Sunday afternoon. The Championship 8+ boat raced in a field of 32 and finished 23rd overall.
"The Championship 8+ boat put down a strong piece and moved our team position forward in the event overall," head coach Lisa Glenn said.
Coxed by sophomore Madelyn Walsh, the crew of senior Brenna Randall, freshman Madison Kirkman, junior Abbi Altman, freshman Kathleen Rice, freshman Reagan Long, senior Mikayla Dutton, sophomore Katherine Begley and junior Ashley Ball finished with a time of 16:16.778. UTSC Princeton took first overall with at time of 15:05.842.
With the two results at the HOCR from UT, the team finished with 149.02 points overall with 92.924 points from the Club 4+ race and 56.082 from Sunday's results.
The Lady Vols now take some time off and will return to the spring season on March 14-15 for the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite.
