KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Lakewood BlueClaws left-hander Zach Warren continues to be nearly unhittable out of the bullpen. The lefty closer recorded two more saves last week to bring his season total to 16, which ranks second in the South Atlantic League. The New Jersey native has allowed only two earned runs in his past 22 appearances.

Godley made one start over the past week and was charged with his eighth loss of the season. The righty allowed four runs on two hits but struck out seven batters through five innings in a loss to San Diego on Sept. 3.

Gomes picked up his 22nd double of the season on Sept. 1, hitting a sharp line drive to left field in the bottom of the second inning to give Cleveland a 2-0 advantage over the Tampa Bay Rays. The veteran catcher has batted .275 since the All-Star break.

Steckenrider notched saves in back-to-back appearance against the Phillies on Sept. 3 and Sept. 5. The Atlanta, Georgia, native tossed one scoreless inning in each outing and allowed just one hit while striking out four batters. In 2018, 65.7% of Steckenrider's pitches have been strikes.

Cox made two appearances last week and picked up his first save of the season on Sept. 1. The lefty tossed 0.1 shutout innings against the Bowling Green Hot Rods. Cox's season came to an end in Dayton's season finale as the Dragons fell to Bowling Green 4-0 on Sept. 3. He finished the year with 20 strikeouts, one save, a 1-3 record and a 5.40 ERA through 20.0 innings of work with two teams.

Despite registering six strikeouts and giving up just two runs (one earned) in six innings of work, Lee was charged with his fifth loss of the season as the Suns came up short against Lexington, falling 5-1 on Aug. 30. The Morristown, Tenn., native lowered his ERA from 4.55 to 4.28 with the outing.

The second baseman missed most of May due to vertigo, but hit .400 with seven runs scored, three home runs and 10 RBI in his last 10 games before the injury. Over 19 games in June, Senzel appeared at the hot corner five times with the rest of his appearances coming at second base. He ended the season with a .310, average, .509 slugging percentage and 53 hits through 44 games.

Stewart was named to the International League Postseason All-Star Team on Aug. 28 after finishing tied for the league lead with 23 home runs and ranking third with 77 RBI. Over his last 10 games, Stewart is batting .400 with two homers and six RBI and helped lead the Mud Hens to the West Division title and their first playoff appearance since 2007. The left-handed slugger finished the regular season on an 11-game hit streak before being held without a hit in Toledo's playoff victory over Durham on Wednesday. Stewart went 2-for-3 and blasted his 23rd home run of the season in a 3-2 win over Columbus on Aug. 31. His solo shot tied the game in the eighth inning.

The New Jersey native has allowed only two earned runs in his past 22 appearances. The southpaw has 59 strikeouts and just 12 walks in 27.1 innings pitched during that span.
