UT Baseball Set to Play Georgia State & Alabama this Fall

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee baseball team will play a pair of scrimmages this fall season against Georgia State (Oct. 7) and Alabama (Oct. 20). The Volunteers will also hold their annual Orange and White Fall World Series from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2.
UT's first scrimmage of the fall will be against Georgia State on Sunday, Oct. 7 at LakePoint Sporting Community in Emerson, Ga., which is located about two and half hours south of Knoxville and 40 minutes northwest of Atlanta.
The Big Orange will then welcome SEC rival Alabama to Lindsey Nelson Stadium to play on Saturday, Oct. 20 prior to the Vols and Crimson Tide football game at Neyland Stadium that same day. Game times for both games will be released at a later date.
Tennessee's three-game intrasquad Orange and White Fall World Series will begin on Oct. 31 and run through Nov. 2 at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. All fall scrimmages will have free admission. Concessions will not be available at any of the fall scrimmages at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
