Harper Highlights Day Two at Crimson Tide Four-in-the-Fall

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Tennessee freshman Pat Harper earned a spot in the Houndstooth Draw singles final to highlight performances from Day Two at the Crimson Tide Four-in-the-Fall Championships.
Harper (Brisbane, Australia) defeated Memphis' Oscar Cutting in straight sets by a score of 7-5, 7-6(2) in the Houndstooth semifinal. The UT rookie is off to a three-match singles win streak to begin his collegiate career.
In doubles, Harper and redshirt senior All-American Preston Touliatos (Birmingham, Ala.) paired up for back-to-back victories in the Crimson Draw consolation bracket. The Tennessee duo swept Eskeland/Oscislawski (Rice), 8-0 in the semi's before topping Oklahoma's Bertsch/Stewart, 8-4 in the consolation final.
True freshman Sean Presson (Knoxville, Tenn.) picked up the second singles win of his young career in the Houndstooth consolation, taking the first set from Princeton's Payton Holden 6-2 before winning by retirement.
