KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Sophomore Jay Charleston finished his summer with the San Luis Obispo Blues in the California Collegiate League leading the team in stolen bases (26), total bases (61), hits (45), triples (four) and runs scored (34).

Cape Cod Baseball League
INF Andre Lipcius – Harwich Mariners
Season Stats: 43 GP, .313 AVG, 20 R, 50 H, 4 HR, 11 2B, 27 RBI, .456 SLG, .391 OBP

Lipcius finished the regular season with Harwich batting .313 with 15 extra-base hits and 27 RBIs. The Williamsburg, Va., native went 3-for-5 on Wednesday. On Thursday, Lipcius belted his fourth home run of the summer, driving in two runs in a 7-2 victory over the Brewster Whitecaps. The Mariners are now in the Cape Cod Baseball League Playoffs. Lipcius went 1-for-4 in the Mariners' opening game defeat to the Chatham Anglers, 8-3.

RHP Garrett Stallings – Harwich Mariners
Season Stats: 3 App, 3 GS, 1-0, 2.50 ERA, 18.0 IP, 7 R, 5 ER, 18 H, 0 BB, 21 K

Stallings was one of the top pitchers in the Cape Cod League this summer over his three starts, posting a 21-0 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 18 innings of work. Baseball America writer Teddy Cahill mentioned Stallings as one of the five pitchers in the Cape this summer that raised their profiles heading into the fall.

RHP Zach Linginfelter – Brewster Whitecaps
Season Stats: 9 App, 9 GS, 2-1, 4.11 ERA, 35.0 IP, 17 R, 16 ER, 26 H, 22 BB, 31 K

Linginfelter picked up his second win of the summer on Wednesday, pitching a scoreless inning with a strikeout in an 11-8 win over the Harwich Mariners. The Whitecaps are also in the Cape Cod Baseball League Playoffs, where Linginfelter delivered 4.1 innings on Sunday while allowing only a pair of hits and striking out two. Behind Linginfelter's strong performance, the Whitecaps won their opening game 5-4 over the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox.

RHP Andrew Schultz – Brewster Whitecaps
Season Stats: 11 App, 3 GS, 0-3, 3.97 ERA, 1 Save, 22.2 IP, 11 R, 10 ER, 16 H, 27 BB, 25 K

Schultz made his third start of the season for the Whitecaps, pitching 2.1 innings in the Whitecaps' 12-2 postseason victory over Yarmouth-Dennis. Schultz gave up two runs while allowing three hits and recording two strikeouts.

OF Justin Ammons – Brewster Whitecaps
Season Stats: 25 GP, .258 AVG, 7 R, 16 H, 2 2B, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 9 BB, 2 SB, .339 SLG, .352 OBP

Ammons finished the regular season portion of the schedule with a bang by hitting his first home run of the summer in a 7-2 loss to Harwich. The Memphis native and his Whitecaps team begin postseason play later this week.

California Collegiate League
LHP Garrett Crochet – Santa Barbara Foresters
Season Stats: 5 App, 1 GS, 1-0, 1 Save, 0.00 ERA, 6.0 IP, 3 R, 0 ER, 6 H, 4 BB, 10 K

Crochet did not appear in any games this past week. The lefty recorded one save and struck out 10 batters over five appearances this summer.

RHP Chase Wallace – Santa Barbara Foresters
Season Stats: 14 App, 0-1, 4 Saves, 1.76 ERA, 15.1 IP, 4 R, 3 ER, 5 H, 7 BB, 15 K

Wallace's season came to an end on July 28 with the Foresters falling in the semi-finals to the Conejo Oaks, 3-2. The Sevierville native finished his summer campaign with four saves in four save opportunities and a miniscule 1.76 ERA.

INF/OF Jay Charleston – San Luis Obispo Blues
Season Stats: 34 GP, .315 AVG, 34 R, 45 H, 2 2B, 4 3B, 2 HR, 14 RBI, .427 SLG, .363 OBP, 10 BB, 26 SB

The Longwood, Fla., native totaled two doubles and two home runs to go along with his .315 batting average across 34 games with the Blues. Charleston had 14 multi-hit games, which included four three-hit performances this summer.

INF Luc Lipcius – San Luis Obispo Blues
Season Stats: 36 GP, .331 AVG, 27 R, 41 H, 10 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR, 22 RBI, .452 SLG, .462 OBP, 26 BB

The sophomore finished his time with the Blues leading the team in RBIs (22), walks (26), doubles (10), extra-base hits (12) and games played (35). Lipcius also batted .331 this summer and finished second behind his Vols' teammate Charleston in runs scored (27).

Coastal Plain League
RHP Sean Hunley – Forest City Owls
Season Stats: 4 App, 4 GS, 1-2, 3.94 ERA, 16.0 IP, 14 H, 9 R, 7 ER, 4 BB, 21 K

Hunley appeared in no games this past week for the Owls. The Vols' freshman spun three scoreless innings in in his last game on June 27.

LHP Redmond Walsh – Forest City Owls
Season Stats: 17 App, 3-0, 5 Saves, 2.78 ERA, 45.0 IP, 37 H, 15 R,14 ER, 13 BB, 78 K

Walsh made two appearances for the Owls this past week, pitching a total of 6.1 innings with nine strikeouts. The southpaw made his first start on Friday, delivering three innings while allowing just three hits and one run. Walsh also pitched three innings in the Owls' loss in the West Division Championship. With 78 strikeouts, Walsh leads the league in punchouts with only three games remaining in the Coastal Plain League Playoffs.

RHP Joshua Plummer – Florence RedWolves
Season Stats: 13 App, 4 GS, 0-2, 1 Save, 4.70 ERA, 30.2 IP, 33 H, 18 R, 16 ER, 23 BB, 32 K

Plummer finished his summer with the RedWolves with one save and 32 strikeouts. Plummer's save came on June 29 in a 2-0 win over the Wilmington Sharks.

Northwoods League
OF Evan Russell – Thunder Bay Border Cats
Season Stats: 28 GP, .208 AVG, 13 R, 20 H, 6 2B, 7 RBI, .271 SLG, .313 OBP, 13 BB, 9 SB

Russell did not appear in any games this past week. The Border Cats' outfielder went 2-for-2 on June 29 in a win over the Duluth Huskies.

OF Brandon Trammell – Thunder Bay Border Cats
Season Stats: 43 GP, .265 AVG, 21 R, 39 H, 10 2B, 2 3B, 3 HR, 25 RBI, .422 SLG, .392 OBP, 31 BB

Trammell notched three multi-hit games this past week for the Border Cats. On Wednesday, Trammell went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and three runs scored. The Knoxville native then went 2-for-4 on Friday, driving in two runs while smacking his second triple of the summer. Trammell also made one appearance on the mound, spinning two scoreless innings with five strikeouts on Wednesday. In seven innings pitched this summer, Trammell has allowed no earned runs while fanning 13 batters.

OF Zach Daniels – Kalamazoo Growlers
Season Stats: 57 GP, .265 AVG, 41 R, 52 H, 6 2B, 3 3B, 7 HR, 42 RBI, .434 SLG, .399 OBP, 42 BB, 10 SB

Daniels played in eight games this past week for Kalamazoo, turning in one of his best weeks of the summer. The Stockbridge, Ga., native totaled three multi-hit games, including a 3-for-4 performance on Wednesday with a double and three RBIs. Daniels also reached base five times on Monday, going 2-for-2 with two RBIs, a run scored and three walks. The outfielder is now slugging .434 with a .399 on-base percentage. Daniels has been mentioned as a potential breakout player for the Vols next season by D1Baseball.com after his impressive summer with Kalamazoo.

Smokey Mountain Collegiate League
LHP Will Heflin – Smokey Mountain Eagles
Season Stats: No Stats Available. Helped lead the Eagles to a 11-7 record. The Eagles won the league's championship game 4-1 over the Smokey Mountain Bears on July 17.

RHP Richard Jackson – Smokey Mountain Copperheads
Season Stats: No Stats Available. Helped lead the Copperheads to a 9-11 record. The Copperheads lost 6-5 in the first round of the playoffs to the Smokey Mountain Bears on July 16.

Valley Baseball League
LHP Alex Harper-Cook – Waynesboro Generals
Season Stats: 14 App, 4-0, 1 Save, 3.12 ERA, 26.0 IP, 19 H, 13 R, 9 ER, 10 BB, 20 K

Harper-Cook has picked up wins in back-to-back appearances with the Generals. The left-hander delivered 1.2 innings on the mound on Wednesday, allowing just one hit and one earned run while punching out three opposing batters. The southpaw's win came in the Valley Baseball League Playoffs. The Charlottesville TomSox knocked the Generals out of the playoffs on Saturday.
