KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – VFL Christin Stewart had a monster week for the Mud Hens, compiling 10 hits, six runs, three doubles, two home runs, six RBI and six walks.

Godley made two starts over the past week, posting a 1-1 record. The South Carolina native was tagged for five runs in five innings in a loss to Seattle on August 24 but bounced back nicely on Wednesday in a win at San Francisco. Godley went 7.2 innings, allowing just one run on two hits while striking out six Giants' batters to pick up his 14th victory of the season.Â

Yan Gomes – C, Cleveland Indians
Season: 94 G, 44 R, 87 H, 21 2B, 12 HR, 40 RBI, 21 BB, .430 SLG, .310 OBP, .260 AVG

Gomes continued to swing a hot bat last week with at least one hit in each of the four games he played in. The veteran catcher is currently on a six-game hit streak for the Indians, who lead the American League Central Division by 13 games. Gomes' best performance of the week came in a 5-4 loss at Kansas City on August 24, when he went 3-for-4 with a double.

Drew Steckenrider – P, Miami Marlins
Miami Marlins: 4-3, 3.81 ERA, 62 G, 2 SV, 56.2 IP, 50 H, 25 R, 24 ER, 24 BB, 65 K

Steckenrider had an up-and-down week, making four appearances for the Marlins. The second-year major leaguer struck out a pair in a scoreless inning of relief in a 1-0 win over Atlanta on August 24 and picked up his second save of the season a day later against the Braves. Steckenrider struggled in his final two appearances of the week, giving up a combined four runs in two losses to the Red Sox.

The Morristown, Tenn., native lowered his ERA from 4.77 to 4.55 and notched his second double-digit strikeout performance of the season.

Senzel suffered a season-ending injury vs. Norfolk on June 22. The second baseman missed most of May due to vertigo, but hit .400 with seven runs scored, three home runs and 10 RBI in his last 10 games before the injury. Over 19 games in June, Senzel appeared at the hot corner five times with the rest of his appearances coming at second base. He ended the season with a .310, average, .509 slugging percentage and 53 hits through 44 games.

The Atlanta native hit a two-run shot that proved to be the game winner in a 3-2 victory over Columbus on August 24. The left-handed slugger had another big game on Wednesday at Indianapolis, going 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI. Over his last 10 games, Stewart is batting .367 with three home runs and eight RBI. Stewart is tied for the International League lead with 22 home runs and ranks third with 75 RBI this season.

Warren continued his dominance out of the bullpen for the Lakewood BlueClaws, allowing just one hit while picking up two more saves last week after striking out the side in both appearances. The New Jersey native has allowed only two earned runs in his past 19 appearances. The southpaw has 50 strikeouts and just 10 walks in 23.1 innings pitched during that span.
