LAST TIME OUT: Tennessee wrapped up the opening weekend with a 4-0 triumph over George Mason on Sunday, Aug. 19. Four different Vols scored goals as Amy Thompson, Salera Jordan, Rylie O'Keefe and Erin Gilroy found the back of the net.
Goalkeeper Shae Yanez logged her second-straight solo shutout for the Vols behind a Tennessee back line that limited the Patriots to four shots on the night.
CONSENSUS TOP-15: As of Tuesday, Aug. 21, the Vols have been selected top-15 in both major college soccer polls. Tennessee sits 13th on the United Soccer Coaches rankings and 15th according to TopDrawerSoccer.com.

Against St. John's, Thompson became the sixth true freshman in program history to tally the team's first goal of the season and the first since 2007 (Tanya Emerson).
SCOUTING WAKE FOREST: The Demon Deacons fell to Northwestern 2-0 to open the season as part of the Hoosier Challenge Cup in Bloomington, Ind. Wake Forest was selected eighth in the ACC preseason poll and returns 18 players from last season's squad that finish 11-6-4 overall.
