KNOXVILLE, Tenn. –  VFL Zack Godley made his best start of the season on Tuesday for the Arizona Diamondbacks. The right-hander earned his 12th win, working seven scoreless innings in a shutout of the Texas Rangers.Â

The right-hander only gave up two hits and struck out ten batters in his dominant performance against the Rangers. Godley became the first pitcher to strike out the first batter of the inning in seven consecutive innings to start a game. Godley also made a start on July 26 against the Chicago Cubs, striking out six batters over 5.2 innings pitched in a no decision. In July, the former Vol went 3-1 with 43 strikeouts and only 14 walks.

Yan Gomes – C, Cleveland Indians

Gomes recorded a hit in all four of the games he played in this past week. The Indians' catcher smacked his 11th home run of the season on Monday. Gomes then started off August strong, going 1-for-4 with an RBI single in the ninth inning to help preserve a 2-0 victory over the Minnesota Twins.

Steckenrider pitched 2.0 innings over two appearances this past week against the Washington Nationals. The righty delivered a perfect inning on Saturday and then finished off the series with another scoreless frame on Sunday. Steckenrider finished July with a 3.18 ERA and ten strikeouts over 11.1 innings pitched.

On Wednesday, Borbon smacked his second home run with the Sultanes de Monterrey. The outfielder also went 1-for-4 with a single and a run scored on July 26. Â

Lee has made a smooth transition from the bullpen to a starting role for the Suns. This past week the right-hander made two starts, allowing just one earned run over 11.0 innings pitched. On Friday, Lee pitched five innings, yielding only five hits while punching out seven opposing batters. The former Vol was even more impressive on Wednesday, delivering six scoreless frames with 12 strikeouts. Aside from one rough start on July 17, Lee gave up just one earned run over 16.0 innings pitched in his other three starts in July. Â

Moberg has made two appearances with Asheville and is still looking for his first hit for the Tourists. The second baseman finished off his days with Grand Junction on a high note, going 2-for-4 on Saturday and 1-for-3 with a double on Sunday.

Norfork made a major impact in Harrisburg's 4-3 victory over the Bowie Baysox on Sunday. With the Senators down 3-0 in the fifth inning, Norfork stepped up to the plate and belted a three-run home run to tie the game at 3-3. The Senators went on to win the game, 4-3. Â

The Oak Ridge native made five appearances in his rehab assignment with the GCL Astros, pitching a total of 6.0 innings without allowing an earned run. Ramsey returned to action with the Grizzlies on Wednesday, delivering 1.1 scoreless innings without allowing a hit.

Senzel suffered a season-ending injury vs. Norfolk. The second baseman missed most of May due to vertigo, but hit .400 with seven runs scored, three home runs and 10 RBI in his last 10 games before the June 22 injury. In 19 June games, Senzel appeared at the hot corner five times with the rest of his appearances coming at second base. He ends the season with a .310, average, .509 slugging percentage and 53 hits through 44 games.

During Friday's 2-for-4 performance, Stewart crushed his 17th home run and knocked in three runs in a 7-2 win over the Norfolk Tides. The former Vol then homered on Sunday and finished the game with three more RBIs. Stewart's 18 home runs have him tied for third in the International League.Â

Warren made two appearances this past week, nailing down the save in both outings. The lefty recorded all six outs this past week via the strikeout. Warren finished an impressive July with a 0.82 ERA, 21 strikeouts and six saves in six save opportunities.
