KNOXVILLE, Tenn. –  Freshman outfielder Zach Daniels had a huge week for the Kalamazoo Growlers in the Northwoods League in which he totaled eight hits, seven runs scored, two triples, a home run and five RBI.

INF Andre Lipcius – Harwich Mariners
Season Stats: 14 GP, .271 AVG, 3 R, 13 H, 3 2B, 2 RBI, .333 SLG, .314 OBP, 3 BB

Lipcius has increased his batting average from .222 to .271 over the past week, which ranks fourth on the team. The Virginia native has recorded at least one hit in five of his last six games, including a pair of two-hit performances on June 24 and June 25.

RHP Garrett Stallings – Harwich Mariners

Stallings got his second start of the summer last Tuesday, earning a no-decision in a 4-3 victory against the Orleans Firebirds. The sophomore right hander had 10 strikeouts and did not allow a single walk in six innings of work while giving up two runs on seven hits.

Linginfelter earned a no-decision in his second start of the summer after giving up four runs (three earned) over four innings of work in a 5-4 win against the Cotuit Kettleers on June 22. Â The hard-throwing right hander recorded six strikeouts in the game and allowed four hits.

Schultz gave up one run on one hit in just 0.1 innings pitched in his only appearance last week, a 3-2 loss to the Wareham Gatemen on June 23.

LHP Garrett Crochet – Santa Barbara Foresters

After logging three more appearances last week, Crochet has yet to allow an earned run this summer. The freshman lefty recorded his first save of the summer on June 24 in a win over the Arroyo Seco Saints, striking out a batter while not allowing a hit in a scoreless ninth inning.

Wallace continued his phenomenal summer with two more shutout appearances last week. The Sevierville native has not allowed a single run and has given up just two hits in eight innings pitched. Wallace recorded his third save of the summer on June 23 as the Foresters defeated Arroyo Seco.

Charleston leads the Blues with 10 stolen bases and two triples so far this summer while batting at a .313 clip. He also ranks second on the team with 21 hits, trailing current Tennessee teammate Luc Lipcius, who has 22. The Longwood, Fla., recorded eight hits in six games last week, including a pair of three-hit performances. Charleston went 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI against the Academy Barons on June 21 before going 3-for-4 with a run and two stolen bases against the Humboldt Crabs on June 23.

Lipcius currently leads the Blues in runs, hits, doubles, walks and total bases through 16 games this summer. The Virginia native had a pair of multi-hit games last week, going 2-for-4 with a run, a double and an RBI against the Academy Barons on June 19 before picking up two hits, a run and a triple against Humboldt on June 24.

RHP Sean Hunley – Forest City Owls

Hunley struggled in his last start as the Owls fell to High Point-Thomasville HiToms, 9-3, on June 18. Despite striking out seven batters, the Mount Juliet native last just four innings and gave up five earned runs on eight hits to fall to 1-2 on the season.

Walsh continued his dominant summer with three more saves in three appearances last week. The redshirt freshman left hander is tied for second in the entire league with five saves this season and leads the league with 32 strikeouts in just 20.1 innings pitched. Walsh allowed just two hits and no runs while piling up seven strikeouts in four innings of work last week. Â

Plummer was stuck with his first loss of the summer after giving up four runs on eight hits in 4.2 innings of work on June 23 against the Macon Bacon. The Virginia native also walked three and struck out four in the loss.

OF Evan Russell – Thunder Bay Border Cats

After a slow start to the summer, Russell is starting to heat up at the plate after another solid week. The Lexington, Tenn., native is riding a five-game hit streak and has recorded at least one base knock in 11 of his last 12 games. Russell had two hits, a double, a stolen base and an RBI in an 8-5 win over St. Cloud on June 23 and is tied for the team lead with six doubles.

The Georgia native ranks among the league leaders in a handful of categories, including triples (t-1st), homers (t-4th) and RBI (t-6th). Daniels went 3-for-4 with two runs, a triple and two RBI in a 5-2 win over Green Bay on June 20 and hit his fourth long ball of the summer in a 6-4 loss to Madison on June 24 that snapped the Growlers' 11-game win streak. Daniels also tripled and drove in a run on Monday in a loss to the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders.
