Tennessee rising sophomore Erin Gilroy helped lead the United States U-20 Women's National Team to victory at the Tournoi Maurice Revello Sud Ladies Cup in Friday last week in France.Â
Gilroy scored her first two international goals as Team USA won the four-team tournament, defeating Germany 3-0, Haiti 7-0 and France 3-1.Â
Her first goal came in the 66th minute against Haiti. In the final match against France, she gave Team USA some breathing room with a goal in the 88th minute off a pass from Sophia Smith.Â
The Sud Ladies Cup serves as preparation for all four teams before the 2018 FIFA Women's U-20 World Cup group play, which will be held Aug. 5-24 in France's Brittany Region.Â
Gilroy, a native of Bellmore, New York, was one of seven forwards on the U.S. roster. Last season, she earned SEC All-Freshman Team honors for the Vols, scoring four goals and finishing with a team-best nine assists.Â
