Vols-Gators Series Opener Postponed Due to Rain

UPDATE: Saturday's series opener has now been moved to a 4:30 p.m. start.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Due to inclement weather, Friday's baseball game between Tennessee and No. 1 Florida has been postponed until Sunday when the two teams will play a doubleheader beginning at noon ET at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
Saturday's game will now take place at 4:30 p.m. instead of its originally scheduled time of 6 p.m.
The first 7-inning game of the doubleheader on Sunday will begin at noon ET and be shown live on the SEC Network. Game two of the doubleheader and game three of the weekend series will begin approximately 45 minutes following the conclusion of Sunday's first game and will also be seven innings. The game will be streamed live on SEC Network+ (WatchESPN). Both games will also be carried live on Sports Radio WNML (FM 99.1 / AM 990) with John Wilkerson and Vince Ferrara on the call.
General admission and reserved tickets from Friday's contest will be redeemable for Sunday's games. Fans can exchange their tickets from Friday's game at the ticket booth located at the main entrance of Lindsey Nelson Stadium for a Sunday ticket that is good for both games.
