KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Rowing is headed to Worcester, Mass. to compete in the Women's Sprints on Sunday. The event will be the Vols' final tuneup before hosting the Big 12 Championship on May 12-13 in Oak Ridge.
The single-day event, hosted by U.S. Rowing on Lake Quinsigamond, is comprised of heats in the morning and finals in the afternoon.
Tennessee will begin the day with the 1V8+ facing off against Rutgers, Temple and Boston at 8:40 a.m. ET. The 2V8+ will take to the water at 9 a.m. ET against Dartmouth (No. RV), Temple and Boston. The 1V4+ will round out the morning for the Vols, taking on Rutgers, Temple and UConn at 9:40 a.m. ET.
Boats will be seeded in the afternoon finals based on the results of their morning heats.
