MEN'S TENNIS CENTRAL: USC UPSTATE

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The No. 23-ranked Tennessee men's tennis team is back in action on Saturday as the Vols (8-2) host USC Upstate for a double-header at Goodfriend Tennis Center.
The Vols take on the Spartans (2-7) at 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Admission is free to all regular-season matches. Fan parking will be in Lot SC-40 (across Cumberland Ave. from Walmart) and lot N-12 (off cumberland).

BACK IN THE POLLS: After defeating then No. 20 and now No. 13 Duke on Feb. 9, UT climbed to No. 23 in the latest ITA Collegiate Tennis rankings. It is the first time Tennessee has been ranked in the top 25 since February of 2015, when it began the season at No. 20. The Vols also currently sit at No. 25 in the USTA poll.
INDIVIDUAL RANKINGS: Junior Timo Stodder ranks No. 25 nationally for the Vols in the Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings. Stodder is in his second year at the top of the singles lineup. The native of Berlin, Germany picked up two top-40 singles wins at the ITA Kick-Off Weekend, knocking off No. 35 Stefan Milicevic of Minnesota and No. 37 Leonardo Telles of Texas in two sets each. Stodder is a team-leading 20-5 overall this season.
New individual and team rankings will be released on Feb. 27.
