Coach's Take
On playing two tournaments back-to-back:
"We all mentioned that we were happy to get back in action right away and put the last tournament behind us." - Coach Brennan Webb
On Tyler Johnson's play:
"Tyler is a really good player who has been struggling a little bit this season so it was great to see him get off to a solid start today and I expect this will be more the norm going forward for him." - Coach Brennan Webb
Player's Take
On what was working for him in round one:
"I was in position off the tee today better than I have been at previous events. That allowed me to be more aggressive on approach shots and lead to easier putts." - redshirt sophomore Tyler Johnson
On playing close to campus:
"The whole team traveling in the van is a good experience and having parents and friends watching is always nice." - redshirt sophomore Tyler Johnson
