SWIM/DIVE CENTRAL: Arkansas
January 12, 2018 | Swimming & Diving
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Tennessee women's swimming and diving team squares off against Arkansas on Saturday in the team's lone women-only dual meet of the season.Â
The meet starts at 11 a.m. Eastern (10 a.m. Central) at Arkansas Natatorium.
The seventh-ranked Lady Vols (5-2) are coming off a 177-123 loss to No. 11 Virginia last week. For Arkansas (6-2), Saturday marks the team's first dual meet since November. The Razorback divers were on Rocky Top last week competing in the Tennessee Diving Invitational.Â
Saturday marks the fourth consecutive season the Lady Vols have competed in a women-only meet against Arkansas or Vanderbilt, both schools that only have women's programs. The Razorbacks won the previous meeting 146.5-136.5 in November 2015.Â
The dual meet season is quickly winding down in college swimming. Tennessee only has three more team competitions before the postseason: at Arkansas (Saturday), at Georgia (Jan. 20) and home against Florida (Jan. 26).Â
