CLEMSON, S.C. -- Tennessee looks to go toe-to-toe with some of the top teams in the country this weekend at the Clemson Invitational, facing off against 21 programs from across the nation, nine of which are nationally ranked.
In the morning session, the Vols will face off against Columbia, #15 Syracuse, #5 Texas, #20 Indiana, Gonzaga, and Clemson in the 1V8+, 2V8+ and 1V4+ events.
The 1V8+ will start the day for the Vols, taking to the course at 8:38 a.m. The 2V8+ will follow at 9:04 a.m., and the 1V4+ will race at 9:30 a.m.
In the afternoon Tennessee's 1V8+, 2V8+ and 1V4+ will match up against Minnesota, #15 Syracuse, #4 Ohio State, #18 Louisville, Pennsylvania and Clemson. The Vols 1V4+ will race at 5:44 p.m., the 2V8+ at 6:10 p.m., and the 1V8+ will close out the day for Tennessee at 6:36 p.m.
Tennessee will also have two 2V4+ boats competing in both the morning and afternoon sessions, though those schedules have not yet been confirmed.
On Sunday, boats will be seeded based on their performances in their two Saturday races. Racing will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
